Deadly crash on I-30 in Dallas County shut down multiple lanes of traffic Sunday morning

A fatal crash Sunday morning closed a portion of Interstate 30 near Buckner Boulevard in Dallas.
All eastbound traffic on I-30 at the split with U.S. 80 was being redirected because of the crash, according to a Dallas County sheriff’s office post on X.
The crash occurred about 6 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation, and deputies remained at the location investigating as of 9 a.m.
Other details on the crash — such as how many people died and how many vehicles were involved — were not immediately available.
